Talking about searching option I suppose there should offer more instruments. When people are changing countries or even continents they might think I want to move in October and stay 3 months or 5 months. So I propose to create a search option that is not limited just by one certain check -in day. For example, imagine I am a tenant I want to stay from 3 to 6 months in Portugal and I am flexible to move in between 01/09/2024 till 30/10/2024. So I want to see all the apartment available in that wide period of time. Or another search option: I want to see all apartments that offers 12 months and more rental period..

I recommend Flatio a lot to my friends who have vacation rentals on other platforms, especially where they are being legislated out of their short term rentals. I had a few challenges with this last booking, necessitating a LOT of communication with Flatio Support (who were always excellent and patiently answered my questions - thanks Flatio Support Team!). Some of it stemmed from instructions in the Help for Landlords that led me to believe that the payment schedule could be changed after an amendment. Mine was a unique situation, and a little painful to be honest, in that I needed to refund the tenant who then had to pay me the same about back about a week later. I wished at the time that the payment schedule could simply be changed but perhaps clarifying the wording in the help section on amendments could avoid such a situation in the future for owner, tenant and Support team. What was unclear was that the general amendment could not result in a payment schedule change (or a change in the lease start date) in this specific situation - after the first lease payment had been released even though the tenant had not arrived on his checkin date. Thanks again to Flatio Support for all the assistance through this challenging situation. You are the best!

As a landlord, I love Flatio! I have done some searches for places to stay myself, and I wish that Flatio would not list as destinations countries or cities where Flatio does not have any listings at all, as I have spent some time clicking through to various regions or cities only to find that there are zero homes on the Flatio platform in that area (for example - Canada, Curaçao, or the Dominican Republic). Perhaps you could at least put the number of listings beside the destination name (even if the number of listings is zero), or make a section for future Flatio destinations to let owners who have properties in those regions know that Flatio would like to carry listings for those specific destinations. FYI there are some plum markets in Canada where short term vacation rentals are being regulated out of the market, leaving strong opportunities for mid-term rentals. Might be worth some marketing dollars! I'm doing my part to spread the word. Keep up the good work!
