Great stay

Josefina is a wonderful landlord, very responsive, kind and understanding and the outdoor area of the house is nice to have in the middle of the city. The apartment is small but it’s in a great condition and has been tastefully decorated. The bed is really comfortable and overall, everything you need is there for a good visit to Porto.

Communication was good! There weren't any problems so didn't need much to be addressed!

Maria, her husband, and her niece were all so helpful, friendly, and accommodating! They were responsive and ensured we had a pleasant stay the month that we were there. Being a few steps away from the beach was amazing and the Pizzeria (Terazza) nearby was always great. About a 25 minute walk to the nearest metro and a 40 minute ride into main Porto (we usually stopped at Trinidade). Maria's place is in a quiet neighborhood and away from the hustle and bustle of the main city but not too far to get to! Grocery stores are about a 45 minute walk or less than 10 minute Bolt ride away.

Wonderful apartment and the best host! I feel more than lucky to have stayed there, it felt just like home. The apartment has everything you need, and the location is perfect!

We stayed for 4 nights at this apartment in the center of Porto. The location is amazing - very close to the São Bento metro / train station and walking distance to multiple tourist attractions and Vila Nova de Gaia. The apartment is clean and exactly as pictured. Very comfortable bed. The street can be a little loud due to the all the traffic but this was easily solved by getting some earplugs. Célia was very responsive whenever we had any questions. Highly recommended!

Such a cute apartment with easy access and parking. The landlord was fantastic, spent time ensuring arrival and departures were smooth and that we were enjoying the place. The building has good secure keypad access, is clean and quiet. Fan of futebol ? This unit is close to the Porto FC stadium, has a good bkfst place close-by, is a block away from a small convenience store, offers 200+MB internet speeds and offers great access to the subway. Looking for a great place to stay in Porto ? This is it !!

Very cozy apartment, it has everything you need, dishwasher, air conditioning and a large terrace outside. The owner is very caring and helped with all issues. The location is a minute walk from the metro and 10 minutes from the historical center

Our stay in the apartment was great. Excellent location. The apartment itself is large, bright and clean. The apartment had everything you need for a comfortable stay. Communication with Isabel was very pleasant. She quickly responds to any questions and is always ready to help.

We really enjoyed staying here. Raquel was really attentive and answered all our questions. The location was amazing, the internet was also good and the weekly cleaning has been a nice plus. One thing to consider before booking is that as the location is central it can get quite noisy during the night, but the windows are able to block the majority of the noise.

The flat is in a great central location with lots of tourist sites, cafes and restaurants nearby. Even though the apartment is small, it’s well designed and makes a good use of space so that it includes all the amenities you need like a dishwasher and washing machine/dryer. We stayed for about 2 weeks and really enjoyed it!

I can't speak more highly of both the flat and Sofia (and her friend Nico). First, Sofia was so accommodating when we wanted to make little adjustments to our itinerary and such a pleasure to speak with. The flat is great as well. It's very spacious compared to other places we looked at, which is nice when you have a long-term stay. It was great to have spaces for our kids to go off and read or play and not feel like we're all squished together. The kitchen is a great size and has everything you need and the laundry is very helpful. We loved the location, as it's 5-10 mins by Uber/Bolt to the beaches of Foz do Douro or Matosinhos, 10 mins across the bridge to Gaia and 10-15 mins to central Porto. The area is close to groceries and cafes and people around the neighbourhood were very friendly. Probably the only negative - and it's hardly a negative - is that the Serralves Park is an enclosed park that requires payment to access. It was very lovely and we did a night walk through it with a light show. There are also museums throughout the park that you can pay to visit. But with younger kids, we would've preferred an open park with a playground that we could visit frequently. But those types of parks aren't too far away either so it wasn't a big deal. Overall, the flat made for a perfect home base to retreat to and chill out. It was important to us to not only do the touristy things and burn ourselves out, but have time to live like a local would, make meals at home, relax and play a game, etc. This place was just right in giving us that peaceful, home-like setting. I would absolutely stay here again and I can't recommend it enough.
